My 18 year old son became a client of Jacob’s at the height of his addiction. It was really a tough time and we had already had a couple of very rough years. My son really valued Jacob‘s work with him, as he has not always had the same experience with other Recovery professionals. My son went through many ups and downs and Jacob was ready for each and every one.
Jacob has vast resources and ultimately convinced my son and myself that my son needed to move away and into a vetted sober community. It was the best move for my son ever! It forced him to really be honest with himself, and decide if Recovery was what he wanted, which, thankfully he did! This recovery community is large and very supportive. Jacob knew of many of these different types of places across the US and helped decide which one he really thought would be best for my son!
To this day, I am so very thankful that Jacob pushed this! My son is living in a very safe community, working and paying his own bills while staying sober! We just celebrated a very huge milestone in his recovery and I am very grateful to Jacob for all of his knowledge and for his persistence in helping my son be the best that he could be!
